Ken Morris, Managing Partner
Ken has 40+ years of experience in the retail industry, most recently as the Founder and Principal at Boston Retail Partners (BRP). Prior to BRP, Ken was CEO & President of LakeWest Group and the former founder and owner of KMG Solutions, a software company that developed and marketed business process management solutions to the retail industry. Prior to founding KMG solutions, Mr. Morris was the founder and CEO of CFT Consulting and CFT Systems which were dedicated to serving retailers and their supply-chain partners for their technology needs. Ken’s experience includes strategy, selection, development and deployment of e-commerce, catalog, and traditional retail solutions for merchandising, in-store, finance, distribution, and logistics functions. He has also held various positions at Lord & Taylor, Talbot’s, Stop & Shop Supermarkets, Grossman's (Home Improvement), Sears, and was Director of the New England Retail Technology Practice for Deloitte & Touche.
Marty Whitmore, Managing Partner
Marty is a Senior Information Technology Executive possessing excellent leadership and management skills, His background includes 20+ years with TJX Cos. Inc. where he was responsible for all Global Store Systems. He also held the position of Senior Vice President Global Infrastructure Services. Marty provides a track record of delivering consistent results through strong alignment with the business. Marty possesses outstanding strategic planning skills with an understanding of the need to consistently deliver tactically. He has an excellent ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical colleagues. He has expertise in all aspects of Retail Systems, Application Development, Application Support, Infrastructure, Service Delivery and Security. Marty has worked in all aspects of retail as he also spent two years with Starmount Systems in Austin, TX as Vice President of Software Development and Implementation.
Hunter Harris, Managing Partner
Hunter has 25 years of experience helping retailers achieve improved performance through strategy development, operations improvement and business process re-engineering enabled by information technology. His experience includes large-scale transformation projects spanning omnichannel enablement, customer engagement, merchandising improvement and supply chain optimization. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University.
John is a senior level industry expert with over 35 years of experience in retail IT program management and implementations. He has executive level experience in big box and specialty retail as well as quick service restaurant including: Tractor Supply Company, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Home Depot, Blockbuster Video and Burger King. John specializes in strategy, point of sale (POS), payment services, and mobile solutions with experience driving a wide range of retail and restaurant enterprise applications, from selection through implementation.
Mike has 15 years’ experience in retail, consumer packaged goods, and distribution industry consulting and has successfully executed more than 60 projects. Mike has 20 years’ experience in leadership positions in large retailers with accountability for supply chain and information technology in both the US and UK. He specializes in supply chain optimization, distribution center process improvement, systems selection and implementation, logistics outsourcing, transportation management, distribution network design and multichannel distribution. He hold a degree in Mathematics from Kings College London.

Laura is an astute retail strategist with an outstanding record of performance in business technology executive roles including SVP at a major U.S. retailer and Fortune 150 company. She is an expert at assessing a retail company’s IT strengths and weaknesses, building technology roadmaps, and providing high-level consulting oversight. A big-picture thinker with ability to execute major programs (to $400M), to inform recommendations to clients and consistently deliver results measured in greater corporate efficiency and enhanced revenues. She is experienced in overseeing a global enterprise application environment including POS, WMS, Merchandising, and Workforce Management.
Joe is a business and technology strategist specializing in retail project management, selection and integration, customer engagement, merchandising, marketing, business process modeling, research, quality assurance, and IT strategy. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Maine.
Arjune has more than five years of retail and restaurant consulting experience, including store operations, merchandising, change management, point of sale (POS) and ERP systems integration. Arjune brings a point of view from the retail management and store team levels, managing multiple teams in different departments. He has a strong knowledge of store system pilots, software implementation and deployments, and inventory and merchandise management. Arjune excels working in cross-functional teams and strives to build interpersonal relationships with all members of a team. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.
Linda is a dynamic and enthusiastic change agent with a track record of developing and sustaining operations through assuring excellence in service delivery. She has improved operational performance over multiple engagements through strategic implementation of technology, process enhancements and performance metrics. Linda’s has proven skills in building and motivating diverse teams across multiple locations, using analytical skills to develop actionable recommendations to support organizational objectives, and expanding capacity through efficiency initiatives. She has demonstrated excellence in multiple industries and across people, process, and technology work streams and proven success in developing collaborative execution strategies.
A results-driven applications development executive providing design, support, operations, and business integration. A hands-on team leader with proven expertise in analyzing requirements, creating and implementing effective solutions, directing concurrent initiatives, and motivating teams to deliver top performance. Randy is an accomplished Retail & Grocery Information Technology executive with 20+ years of progressive experience in delivering comprehensive technical solutions, operational leadership, technology innovation and vendor management. Effective leader with a reputation for staying ahead of the curve with the identification and creation of effective program solutions in support of growth, scale and operations. Change agent, skilled at forging lasting cross-functional professional relationships critical for converting challenges to opportunities and success.
Grant is a consultant and strategist with more than five years’ experience across varied retail, restaurant and CPG engagements. His specific expertise includes: customer engagement with a strong emphasis on loyalty and retention, change management, future state store designs, store and business operations, POS implementation and selection as well as private equity due diligence. He holds a B.A. from the University of Richmond.
